Game drives can be enjoyed in your own private game vehicle which is available for use and parked in a carport at the Lodge. Walking trails can be arranged with your guide or the staff at the reserve. It is advisable not to walk about on your own without a professional guide.
Bird watching can be done from the comfort of the Lodge while sitting on the deck. It is also possible to enjoy while out and about on the game vehicle. The reserve has a prolific bird life and numerous species can be viewed.
Star gazing is absolutely spectacular during the clear evening. Be amazed with the spectacular star-scapes and possibly enjoy the pleasure of the company of the local owl that are known to frequent the lodge on many an evening.
The source of the ancient spring gushes out 22 000 litres of water at 52 degrees Celsius every hour. Rich in limestone minerals including calcium carbonate, sodium chloride and other salts, the water is popular for healing treatments.
Apart from the hydro therapy of the Jacuzzi, indoor hydro pools and the main pool, the resort offers cable water skiing, go-karts, mini quads, a fufi-slide, pedal boats, target shooting, 'Monster Web' climbing, putt-putt, kids play park, speed slide, wave pool – the list is endless!

This adventurous tour consists of 10 slides ranging between 70 and 230 meter. All their guides are qualified and experienced to guarantee your safety. They are also qualified field guides which will ensure a very informative tour regarding the wonderful fauna and flora that the Waterberg has to offer.
The tour will take between 2 - 3 hour's depending on the size of the group and after this adventure you can relax at the Bushpig Inn restaurant where you can enjoy a meal and something to drink.
They can accommodate up to 8 people in one group and they have a tour every 45 minutes. In summer time the first tour will start at 7:00 am and the last tour will take off at 16h30. Between May and August the first tour will start at 7:30am and the last tour at 16h00.
There are numerous golf courses in the area including the Zebula Golf Course which offers a superlative golfing experience on a Peter Matkovich designed golf course. Teeing off on this pristine 1 200-hectare bushveld estate is a considerable pleasure with its wildlife spectators, tranquillity and vast open spaces.
Giraffe, zebra, eland, kudu, gemsbok, Nyala, impala, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, warthog, bush pig and many more species could be watching while you hit your perfect shot.
A major Waterberg drawcard is the UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. It is the only savannah biosphere reserve in southern Africa and features a mix of rock formations, formed over millions of years, significant San (Bushmen) rock art sites and abundant bushveld plains that support a diverse array of fauna and flora.
The Waterberg district is renowned for its spectacular views, which are most evident within the sprawling biosphere reserve. Its pristine bush environment has also precipitated the rise of eco-tourism in this area. There are now a number of game reserves that offer authentic safari experiences, including Big Five game viewing.
